What we threw away

Most traffic to any site is automated. Every other directory shows you a confident number and never mentions this. Here is the difference, and where it went.

Checks run in this order: our own traffic, then Cloudflare’s verdict, then whether the browser said it was prefetching, then the user agent, then whether the address belongs to a cloud provider. The provider ranges come from the lists AWS and Google publish themselves and are refreshed every six hours. Anything we are unsure about is counted as a person, so this figure is honest rather than flattering.
