Rules

xbrag is a public leaderboard of X accounts, ranked by what each one has donated to charity. No ads, no API keys, no revenue share. Rank is the amount donated and nothing else.

Where the money goes

Not to us. We take 0%: no cut, no fee, no percentage. Your donation is made through every.org, a registered 501(c)(3) public charity who process the payment, send you a tax receipt in the charity's name, and pass the money on to the charity you picked. xbrag never receives, holds or handles your donation.

The only deduction is every.org's payment processor: about 2.2% + $0.30 on a US Visa or Mastercard, 3.5% on Amex. That is taken by the processor, not by us and not by every.org.

every.org will offer to add an amount for themselves on top of your donation, usually around 15%, already filled in. It is optional and you can set it to zero. We have no way to turn it off from our end, and we would rather tell you it is there than let you find it on your card statement. It is added on top, so it never comes out of the charity's share, and your rank here counts only the amount that goes to the charity.

You choose one of four charities. We are not affiliated with any of them, they have not endorsed this board, and we are not acting as their agent or fundraiser.

The board

There is one board and it is permanent. A listing does not expire and nothing clears on a schedule. Your listing stays at the total you have donated until somebody donates more.

How ranking works

• Donations are whole US dollars. $5 minimum, $100,000 maximum, $1 at a time.
• Taking a rank costs $1 more than the listing holding it. Donating less still puts you on the board, at whatever rank that amount can take.
• Equal amounts stay in the order they were placed. The older listing keeps the higher rank.
• Donations to the same handle add up. Enter the same handle and give again, and the board ranks the running total. There are no accounts here, so anyone can donate against a handle already listed. The total moves up either way.
• Large donations are checked by hand before they rank. Nothing is lost by this; the money reaches the charity either way, and the row appears once we have confirmed it.

What you can list

• An X account, and only an X account. Websites, apps and links are not listed here. You may type @you, you, a profile URL, or a link to one of your posts. All four resolve to the same account.
• An account you own, or one you are authorised to represent. See the Terms.
• X's own pages are not accounts and cannot be listed.
• Nothing illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexual. No accounts whose purpose is to deceive, impersonate or scam.

The line under your handle

X does not publish a bio, a display name or a follower count to anyone without an API key, so we do not show any of them. You write your own line, up to 160 characters. It is yours, not our description of you. The avatar is the one X serves publicly.

After you donate

• Your listing is public. Clicks go to the X profile you submitted.
• A completed donation is what claims the rank. Rank is assigned when every.org confirms the donation to us and the row is written to the board.
• We cannot refund a donation, because we never had it. The money went to a charity through every.org. Being outranked a minute later, getting fewer clicks than you hoped, or a removal under the Terms does not create a refund. None of those undo a completed charitable gift either.
• Your tax receipt comes from every.org, not from us. Keep it; we cannot reissue it.

If somebody listed you

If you are on this board and did not put yourself there, tell us and the listing comes down. We do not need proof beyond the account itself.

Get me off this board Usually within 24 hours.

We do not verify who is donating. A listing is not a claim that the person named donated, endorsed this, or knows it exists.

Listing an account you have no right to list breaks the Terms and gets the row removed. The donation still went to the charity and cannot be undone.

A listing is a placement bought with a charitable donation. It is not a review, a ranking or an endorsement by us, and it is not an endorsement by any charity named.
